Welcome to a new debate on SecurityCommunity.eu.
The EU currently thinks about what it should do about Bosnia's future. But really, the EU should think in more general terms about European Security and Defence Policy and its neighbourhood. Can the EU provide any harder than very soft security to its neighbours? Should it? Olaf Theiler from NATO thinks so and explains it in this paper.
The paper is the direct outcome of a recent conference of the European Security Round Table, a Brussels-based EU security and defence event platform.
