"User debates" is made available for the exchange of views with other users on the various EU security themes of this website. We are interested in lively discussions and varied opinions, however we will not tolerate personal attacks. In the interest of all users, please abide by the following rules:

1. General law and statutory provisions are to be adhered to. In particular, we will not tolerate any personal attacks based on race, nationality, ethnical origins, religion, gender, sexual orientation, handicap or any further differences. Should you have a difference of opinion with someone, please keep your disagreement within the theme discussed and do not get personal.

2. It is expressly prohibited to spread material calling to hate of a part of the population or which is used for the propaganda of an anti- constitutional organization.

3. We will not tolerate the use of vulgar, abusive, or hateful language. Please keep discussions in good taste and show other users respect.

4. It is prohibited to voluntarily disturb other users' dialogues, e.g.: through repeated disruption of conversations between other users, through annoyances or hostility.

In the case of non-respect of these rules, we hold the right to delete contributions, and, in the case of repeated offenses, to block users from entering discussions.

5. Private emails or news may not be made public on the forum without the express understanding of the the sender. Contributions not abiding by this rule will be deleted without prior warning.

6. We always attempt to assign discussions a competent moderator. The latter enjoy our fullest trust and are not meant to be a forum "police", but rather a contact person for user questions and a full participant in the discussion. The moderator is required to warn users in cases of obvious offenses, and to block them from discussion in cases of repeated non-respect of the above rules.
