trennlinie

+ What exactly is SecurityCommunity.eu?

Our web site allows interested parties to share their views on security and defence issues. We hope to encourage an in-depth exchange between science, business and politics. It is meant to give easier access to key information on EU security and to facilitate exchange and debate, in particular between “Brussels” and the EU member states.

+ Who contributes to SecurityCommunity.eu?

SecurityCommunity.eu is a free portal that everybody can contribute to. We encourage all of our members to participate in the ongoing discussions at SecurityCommunity.eu – in the “Opinions” section you will find articles by decision makers and opinion leaders from the area of EU security. If you would like to submit an article yourself, please send it to

Editorial work is provided by our staff and our moderators.

Please note that SecurityCommunity.eu is independently funded and does not promote the positions of any party, interest group or individual.

+ Can you add my web site to the section “Useful Links”?

The “Useful Links” are chosen by our editorial staff. As registered user, you may propose any web site at Useful Links. Please make sure that the site falls into one of the categories or feel free to propose a new category.

+ I´m having trouble with the site. Who can help me?

Just send an email to or use this form to contact our team. It usually takes us less than a day to answer your request.

+ How does the “Glossary” work?

All our registered users are invited to contribute to the articles in the “Glossary” section. Much like “Wikipedia”, we believe that the contribution of a large number of people will improve this part of SecurityCommunity.eu.

+ Who is behind SecurityCommunity.eu?

The event-organisation and communication company COPURA started SecurityCommunity.eu in December 2007. It remains the objective to give easier and more systematic access to quality information about EU security issues.

SecurityCommunity.eu was developed by nova webdesign, a German internet agency.
